When I reviewed Airmail last year, it was arguably the best mail app available for the Mac. Since then, I've used a handful of other apps before ultimately settling on the Mailbox for Mac beta. However, Airmail 2 just landed, combining the same advanced features with an even better Yosemite-style interface. So, is it enough to regain my heart, and the OS X mail app crown? Designed for iOS 13 and the latest generation of iPhone and iPad, Airmail supports 3D Touch, fast document previewing, high quality PDF creation, and native integration with many apps and services for a frictionless workflow. I’ve been using the beta since almost the beggining. It’s super fast and simple! The only thing I miss is the “Sending” button in the colapsed view to see the status of the sending mail! But the app it’s pretty impresive! I recently switched from Mail to Airmail and am glad I did. I got sick and tired of Mail randomly taking my accounts offline. I've been using Airmail for several months now with no issue. There is also Airmail Beta (which is like a nightly release version) if you want to try it out for free before you buy.

In build 391 and those builds form the past 3 months I am experiencing that although the account can be set up successfully, and initial authentication works, after an hour or two suddenly the exchange server connection refuses to stay up and Airmail will just not connect again, highlighting the account icon with the red circle. When going to account setup and clicking 'test', it comes back each time i try with 'Exchange server settings invalid' and 'Authentication failed'. I know 100% sure that the account username and password I use are correct. Only way to restart a successful login is to completely reboot my MAC Macbook Pro Retina Summer 1012 running El Capitan.
And after 1-2 hrs same problem happens again.
Any ideas? I already rebuild / reinstalled Airmail several times.no change.
